Content Distribution Digital Products is responsible for driving consumption, monetization and brand presence for NBCUniversal programming across o/o and distributor digital products - set top box, TVE, dMVPDs
Responsibilities: ~Manage a team of technical product managers by providing leadership, guidance & mentorship ~Define and implement vision, goals & roadmap for the technical product development team ~Develop technical product strategies & architect solutions to meet customer & industry demands ~Monitor and analyze market trends ~Studying competitors’ services and products ~Identify and present creative and innovative product solutions based on technology trends, customer roadmap, product capabilities & distribution priorities ~Identify, specify, and prioritize features and capabilities through direct input with customers and knowledge of the domain ~Coordinate product releases with the cross functional teams including sales, development and service teams ~Serve as the platform SME, providing insight and guidance on product workflows, roadmap, milestones, capabilities, features, etc. ~Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and external vendors as needed ~Manage & maintain all relevant technical documentation in centralized location, per established methodologies and including but not limited to: platform technical requirements, architecture, specs, etc ~Maintain the team training matrix, training documentation and provide training on technical methodologies, templates and tools as needed. ~Enable team ownership and accountability through resource management, change management and executive leadership.
~Bachelor’s degree; Preferred in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or similar ~Minimum of 7 years of experience with product development & product management ~Solid history and proven track record with application development and/or system integration ~Strong attention to detail and organizational skills ~Strong written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills to present pitches and proposals to the key stakeholders and executives ~Experienced in defining product requirements and writing requirement documentations ~Ability to multi-task, adapt to, and initiate change in a fast pace environment ~Demonstrated experience with presentation and analysis tools, such as PowerPoint, Excel, and Visio ~Familiarity with an SDLC methodology that includes requirements analysis, development and delivery ~Agile or Scrum experience preferred
